AGC AMAERICA BUILD AMERICA AWARD
Sioux Falls based Jans Corp. was recognized for its work on the new Sioux Falls Seminary. The AGC of America selected Jans' work as one of 2009's top construction projects. Jans was among 15 companies to receive an Aon Build America Award, an annual recognition of the nation's most significant construction projects. Dale and Brian Jans (at right in picture) received the award a the 2010 AGC America Convention in Orlando FL.
CONSTRUCTION CAMP
In conjunction with a South Dakota Career and Technical Education Program, the AGC Building Chapter participated in a career day in Mitchell. AGC members donated their time to instruct interested students in the availability and potential of a commercial construction career.
