SAFETY TRAINING
An essential part of our Safety Service is to provide education/training to the commercial construction industry. Training, especially Performance Based Training, is a cornerstone of every successful safety and health process. Training is not only offered to assist companies in meeting compliance requirements; but it also shows that employers recognize the value of employees and their effect on profitability. Training is one step in protecting the safety and health of the employee.
The following list of safety related services are available to our members. These services are either directly provided by the AGC Safety Director, facilitated by the Safety Director in conjunction with an outside instructor, or conducted in a 'team teaching' environment with other organizations and instructors. All of the training subjects listed in the "Safety and Health" training section can be conducted at a member's office, jobsite, or other designated location.
